The North American crypto community got to experience why the world does business in the British Virgin Islands (BVI). BVI Finance proudly concluded a landmark week of activity and impact at Canada Crypto Week 2025, where the BVI, under the theme “Destination Digital”, solidified its reputation as a pioneering force in global financial services and digital innovation. With a dynamic presence at two of the industry’s most prominent blockchain events—the Blockchain Futurist Conference and Consensus 2025—alongside a bespoke networking showcase, the BVI delegation made a powerful impression on North America’s fintech and crypto community.
Led by CEO Elise Donovan, Director of Business Development & Marketing Rhodni Skelton, and Senior Administrative Officer and in-house fintech expert Trevaughn Smith, the BVI delegation delivered a clear and compelling message: the British Virgin Islands is not only embracing the digital future—it is actively shaping it.
Strong presence at the Blockchain Futurist Conference and Consensus 2025
At the 2025 Blockchain Futurist Conference, BVI representatives engaged with top industry leaders and innovators, highlighting the jurisdiction’s cutting-edge digital policies, robust legal frameworks, and strategic positioning. They were joined by several BVI practitioners who championed the territory’s role as a trusted, well-regulated, and forward-thinking jurisdiction for digital assets and fintech services.
The momentum continued at Consensus 2025, CoinDesk’s flagship event and one of the most influential gatherings in the blockchain and Web3 space. As an official sponsor, BVI Finance proudly promoted the territory’s fintech-friendly environment to a diverse global audience. Engaging booth activations, expert-led discussions, and high-impact networking opportunities showcased the strength and ambition of the BVI’s digital vision.
“Destination Digital” – A Bespoke Showcase of BVI’s Fintech Future
