28/09/2017

The following is a statement from the Registry of the Supreme Court in the British Virgin Islands.

The Registry of the Supreme Court is thankful for the patience and understanding of our valued customers thus far as we complete the final restoration of our IT servers following the passage of the recent hurricanes.

We are pleased to announce that the technical difficulties which developed last evening have been resolved.

Beginning at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow, Friday, 29 September 2017, outstanding search applications will be processed and returned once payment has been completed.

A further update will follow shortly regarding resumption of physical searches, probate, registration and other services at the new temporary location of the High Court Registry, Second Floor, Sakal Place, Road Town, Tortola (adjacent to the Festival Grounds).

General Meeting

There will be a general meeting on Monday, 2nd October 2017 at the High Court Registry at 2:00 p.m. for all legal practitioners to discuss a number of issues of concern and to share general information regarding operations within the coming weeks. (Due to space limitation we ask that one practitioner be selected to represent each firm).
