BVI FINANCE MEMBER FIRMS MONOPOLISE SUCCESS DURING MIX AND MINGLE EVENT

Member firms took part in friendly rivalries during the long-anticipated Midsummer Monopoly Mix and Mingle Event hosted by BVI Finance.
The event was held on June 29 at the Pusser’s Lounge Bar in Road Town where member firms formed teams and played under the strategic direction of ‘Monopolising Success’.
BVI Finance Head of Marketing and Business Development Simon Gray said that there had been much debate over how the event would be organised as the traditional Midsummer Event last year had been a Monopoly theme quiz.
“With delivery of this bespoke BVI centric game and sales going well, it was appropriate to host this highly competitive game – with one winner whose mission was to render their competitors bankrupt. Passions became high as the dice rolled with individual fighting for cash and real estate supremacy – and amusement at the misfortune of being sent to the Orlando Smith Hospital or the Balsum Ghut Prison,” said Gray.
The BVI Monopoly Board Game also focuses on the four larger and more popular islands – Tortola, Jost Van Dyke, Anegada and Virgin Gorda and location names chosen, are unique to each of these islands. The winners for the evening were gifted with the board used during the event.
