BVI Finance hosted their annual summer event on Thursday, July 20, featuring the BVI Culture Shock Quiz, an interactive trivia card game based on the Virgin Islands.
The event brought together financial service professionals from various firms and fostered a fun-filled atmosphere that encouraged camaraderie and a shared appreciation for the unique traditions of the BVI.
Six enthusiastic teams took part in the BVI Culture Shock Quiz, each comprising four members while other colleagues looked on. The participating firms included Teneo, TMF, ILS Fiduciary, Ogier, MMG Trust (BVI) Corp., and Rawlinson and Hunter Limited, the latter entered two teams.
Throughout the evening, the teams engaged in a battle of wits, answering thought-provoking questions about Virgin Islands' history, culture and lifestyle as participants showcased their knowledge and camaraderie, competing passionately to accumulate the most points.
After an intense competition, one of the teams from Rawlinson and Hunter emerged as the triumphant BVI Culture Shock Quiz champion. Each of the firms who participated received prizes on behalf of BVI Finance.
The BVI Culture Shock Quiz was curated by Mrs. Kyra James, the founder of Kickin It, a platform dedicated to amplifying the voice of young Virgin Islanders. Mrs. James also made a special guest appearance which infused the game with a delightful blend of entertainment and education.
BVI Finance, Marketing and Media Relations Coordinator Ms. Adrianna Soverall and Mr. Shea Alexander of OA Consulting Group hosted the quiz.
