Private wealth expert Richard Grasby from Appleby HK led a roundtable discussion titled "BVI - A Leading Jurisdiction for Private Wealth Structures" at the Private Wealth Asia Hong Kong Forum on September 28, 2023.
During the discussion, Grasby outlined the BVI’s legal system and the availability of varied legal structures, such as companies, limited partnerships, and trusts. He also highlighted the BVI's current legal framework and discussed crucial aspects of succession planning, including wills, probate, and trusts.

Grasby’s presentations offered attendees clear insights into the BVI's capabilities as an International Financial Centre and provided a key moment in the forum's agenda.
The Private Wealth Asia Hong Kong Forum facilitated a productive exchange of knowledge and insights crucial to the private wealth sector, with participation from 250 C-suite level executives from diverse financial fields including wealth managers, family offices, private banks, asset managers and investors.
