The British Virgin Islands Association of Compliance Officers and Practitioners (BVIACO) marked a pivotal moment in the financial sector with its 6th Annual Compliance Conference on September 7, 2023, at Maria’s By The Sea.  Gathering over 200 financial professionals, the "Balancing Waves" conference delved into a spectrum of challenges and innovations intrinsic to today's financial compliance domain.

In a united front against global illicit financial flows, senior officials from the UK Overseas Territories and the United Kingdom gathered in the British Virgin Islands for a pivotal meeting on Illicit Finance. Co-chaired by the UK Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office and the Government of the Virgin Islands, the conference took place from September 12th to 14th, 2023.

Adenike Sicard, Consultant for Marketing and Business Development at BVI Finance, took the stage at the prestigious America Outbound Investment Summit in Los Angeles, California, on September 14.

Marking its unwavering commitment to the financial services industry and to shaping the future of wealth management, BVI Finance and its members showcased robust representation at the recently concluded STEP LatAm 2023 Conference. Held in Bogota, Colombia on September 7 and 8, this event centered around the theme "Building Knowledge Across Borders -Advising Families Today and Tomorrow," drawing a diverse audience of over 375 professionals from across the globe.
