British Virgin Islands, 13 May 2021 – The UK & Ireland division of the global governance body, The Chartered Governance Institute, has today announced a new name for its branch in the British Virgin Islands. The branch is now called The Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland – BVI Branch.

The BVI will soon launch a customised FinTech course, through the collaboration between the Financial Services Institute (FSI) at HLSCC, BVI Finance, the National University of Singapore (NUS), Department of Computer Studies.

The BVI’s growing opportunities to “take the lead” in new digital assets technology and participate in greater global investment was highlighted on Tuesday’s BVI Finance Breakfast Forum.

The new Supreme Court Registrar, Mrs. Vareen Vanterpool-Nibbs, in recent BVI Finance Breakfast Forum promised greater efficiency in the court systems and registry.

The 2020 Financial Services Awards show, which premiered on March 28, was a virtual celebration of the BVI’s top industry partners.
